|Oral Symposium Submissions||7th February 2014|
Lead Individuals, Chairpersons and Groups are invited to submit their Symposium suggestion for the conference programme. Alternatively you can contact Russ Pendleton directly, outlining your proposal
The symposia will consist of 90 minute sessions, either split into four talks of 20 minutes and 10 minutes discussion at the end of all talks, or three talks of 25 minutes and 5 minutes discussion at the end of each talk. Timings must be adhered to strictly at the conference to allow people later in the day to speak on schedule.
Slides should be prepared in PowerPoint - there is no limit on slide numbers, however a good guide is one minute per slide. Please bear this in mind. Sessions will also be videorecorded/audiotaped for post-conference Online Learning purposes where speakers provide approval.

All author names and relevant institutions/organizations should be included when submitting the abstract and a short supporting Biography of each speaker should also be uploaded. This is to be included in the Conference Programme and Abstract Book along with the abstract submission.
The submitting speaker/session organizer must have prior permission from all the proposed speakers and is the main point of contact responsible for forwarding on any acceptances and other communications, etc to them.
All speakers are required to register for the conference. Unfortunately the IFPB Secretariat does not cover the costs of conference registration, travel or accommodation for every speaker.
Receipt of abstracts will be acknowledged by email. Approval or rejection of the session will be made within two weeks of the closing date of Oral Presentation Approvals 7th February 2014. If you have any questions regarding the submissions process or a previous submission please contact us
